Postpartum Depression in Women of Color
Postpartum depression is defined as a major depressive episode that presents at any trimester in pregnancy or within 4-weeks of delivery. Women of color are at a disproportionately greater risk of experiencing PPD than their white counterparts and face unique challenges that put them at a greater risk for PPD.
