Addressing the Intergenerational Transmission of Trauma in Black Women with Trauma Informed Care

Intergenerational trauma refers to the transmission of trauma across generations. For Black women, intergenerational trauma is especially intense due to its convergence of “racialized, gendered, and classed dis-privilege”.
